50 Cute Monsters Drawing Challenge. Monster#17.

Almost finished 20 Cute Monsters, in the meanwhile here is #17,

Bluffsters are not from our planet.  They used to a crop cultivated by Marcians, until a solar splash gave them self-consciousness and love for bluffing and disguising. A long time ago they sneaked on an ancient alien ship and smuggled themselves onto our planet. Their favourite habitats are pyramid-looking structures, which crawled with Bluffsters, until just recently.

It’s a tricky business trying to find a Bluffster. They are unrivaled masters of disguise and can pretend to be anything from a pineapple to a broom. This talent is the reason why there are so few Bluffsters left in the wild. They love pretending to be something yellow, blue and green, only to find themselves locked away in a class case or stuffed in rings.

Have you ever met a Bluffster? I wonder if they are happy on our planet.

50 Cute Monsters Drawing Challenge. Monster#16.

Welcome the new monster-family member,

Softsters, as their name suggests, are creatures soft in every meaning of this word. Not only are they notorious for their excuisite fur, but also for being kind-hearted and easy to be touched. Everything moves them: droplets of rainwater on spiderwebs, sunlight playing in tree tops, snails hurrying about their business.

Why Sofsters have such big and numerous teeth – no one knows. They say, however, that it was the natures attempt to “decuten” this endlessly cute little monster. An attempt which absolutely failed.

I’ve actually had a lot of troubles coloring this one. So I ended up with 5-6 versions of The Softster. Here are my favourites:)

Which color do you like most? Are you a Sofster, too? I definitely am one, just not nearly as cute xD

Cut out, glue, play. Feel like a child again.

Honestly, was fun. Challenging, especially gluing the dice (soooo hard), but did I enjoy every bit of it? Totally!

Me and Quiet decided to play all the games we’ve created before releasing them in a book. Good thinking, Quiet. Found quite a few bugs. Had quite a few White Russians. Felt like kids a again.

Space for brain workout.

I’ve been working my brain out through space brain teasers for about 2 months already…   cause I’ve been drawing an activity book about space! XD

The idea of the book belongs to my coauthor, Quiet Riley Jr.  He is an illustrator, sci-fi author, traveler, spiritual weirdo and what not. Make sure you drop by his blog here. I don’t know what I would do without his insights and amazing writing skills.

The book is almost done, putting final touches on it, which means I can finally share some teasers with you, guys!
